ALL ABOARD FOR VANCOUVER TRAIN EXPO 2017!
The biggest model train exposition in British Columbia November 11th and 12th 2017 at The PNE Forum!
Vancouver Train Expo 2017 makes tracks for the Forum at the Pacific National Exhibition November 11th and 12th for the 35th Annual Expo of everything to do with model trains. This year over 60 exhibitors will be on hand with meticulous recreations of trains running through majestic mountain trails and oceanscapes, cities and landscapes, past and present.
Kids and families will love the hands on experiences of running their own railway empire, likely something they haven’t experienced before. Of course, what would a train expo be without minirail train rides for the kids, LEGO displays and a children’s activity area where you can play with trains.
Traditionalists will love the fully operational collectible and heritage set ups while those with a penchant for tech will be thrilled to see the modernization of the hobby as tablets and computers control dozens of trains on multiple tracks. Of course, it’s the humans that keep them from running off the rails! And finally those looking for bargains or hoping to purchase rare or out of production models might just find what they are looking for in the vendor’s Market Place.
Come and see the many facets the hobby of model railroading offers. It’s three-dimensional art in motion, it’s robotics and it’s a great way for the family to spend a November day!
